Recently, I attended one of the regularly scheduled HPE Nimble storage hands-on training sessions offered in the North Texas area.  These training sessions focus on the Gen 5 updates to the product and some additional hands-on with the HTML5 Management GUI.

Cima has been a Nimble Partner since before the HPE acquisition and the greatest achievement of the HPE merger so far has been that the outstanding Nimble support has remained top tier! This isn't always the case,  as we have been front row to several of these mergers over the years and support is often the first "cost reduction" victim.

I recently attended the Nutanix Sales Kickoff Conference in Las Vegas, and it just keeps getting better to be a Nutanix Partner!

Nutanix Sales Kickoff:

This year has seen Nutanix grow its software defined solutions portfolio to a cool dozen products, add another BIG platform to its ecosystem with IBM Power, increase the adoption of its Acropolis Hypervisor to 33% of its installs and, for the first time, include its partners in the annual Sales Kickoff event this past week in Vegas.

As cliché as it may sound, the best one word descriptor of the Microsoft Inspire Conference that I can think of is inspiring.

An Inspiring Conference:

The conference ran from Sunday July 15th until Thursday July 19th and was centered on celebrating the past year of success between Microsoft and its many partners, including us, while also focusing on and introducing the opportunities that will better enable our clients’ businesses in the upcoming year.

As one of Cima's newest team members,  I have been focused on learning our motivations and solutions as quickly as I can, wanting to reach our expectations,  and aim even higher (I think I just figured out why I was nicknamed the teacher's pet).  Customer care is important over here, so as I was scrolling through LinkedIn this morning, I came across an article that caught my eye.

My boss, Todd Brown, advised me to share a little more information and news, and a little less self-promotion. I promise I'll learn eventually. But for now, we have been awarded a noteworthy success and I can't help but share, and thank those who continue to support our business.

According to a recent article from MSP Alliance the continuing rise of managed services is getting even more fuel on the fire with the challenges around Cyber Security.

"Gartner predicts that IT services spending will reach $985 billing in 2018, a 5.5% increase from 2017.
